DMC Logistics is a DECLARED ESSENTIAL SERVICES PROVIDER. We are open for business and here for you as we navigate through the novel COVID-19 health crisis pandemic.
First and foremost, the safety and security of our team and customers continues to remain our highest priority as we address evolving challenges due to the COVID-19 health crisis pandemic. Remaining open to provide essential services to our customers is a complex process. We’d like to share some of the processes in place regarding screening, sanitation procedures and PPE requirements as we continue to provide service to our customers.
- We remain open for business following CDC guidelines.
- All visitors and employees reporting to work are screened as a precautionary measure to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Response measures are in place to ensure an appropriate response based on individual screening results.
- Facilities and vehicle interiors are sanitized daily. Hand sanitation stations have been strategically placed in facilities for easy access. Warehouse sorts are split to minimize human traffic in buildings and to maintain social distancing, where applicable.
- Drivers are provided masks, gloves, and sanitizers. We have implemented a program through handheld devises to assist with driver screening. Drivers are not sharing handhelds with customers in order to limit the number of people touching equipment. Drivers are not required to stand in line at stops to allow them to proceed into venues with limited exposure to others.
As public health orders change and businesses and retail reopen, we will continue to move forward together. Our team is committed to meet evolving needs with industry-specific expertise in the movement of products that provide value among multiple stakeholders for security, safety, and reliability of service. As an essential services provider we will continue to monitor COVID-19 disruptions and communicate with you on any new developments.
Stay safe, be healthy.
